Hawaiian Landscapes: Earth Within Us

Hawaiian Landscapes: Earth Within Us is a solo exhibition by Taiji Terasaki exploring the deep connections between Hawaiʻi's geological formations, mineral systems, and the human experience. Through paintings inspired by crystalline growth, erosion, and transformation, the work considers how landscapes exist not only around us but within us—shaping memory, identity, and our relationship to the natural world.

By merging artistic inquiry with environmental awareness, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the shared material foundations that connect people, place, and planet.

MakeVisible is dedicated to being an educational organization promoting conservation, preservation and restoration through art, art education and art exhibitions. MakeVisible supports educational art exhibits focusing on the core concepts of conserve/preserve/restore.
